Starting over can be a
daunting task. We get stuck in our everyday
routines. We buy into the “we’ve always done it
this way syndrome” that holds us captive to
ineffective living and we allow ordinary
activities to dominate our outlook. Before you
know it, we have drifted into the land of
complacency. However, the courage it takes to
embrace a new and fresh perspective can be the
difference between living stagnant irrelevant
lives and becoming fully alive to the great plan
that God has for our each of us. Easter is the
radical display of God’s amazing love and the
incredible opportunities that we have as
believers to begin anew. No matter what our past
has been, Christ’ victory over death is our
earnest for a better tomorrow in every aspect of
our lives!
This Easter represents a significant new
beginning for The Urban Restoration. It marks a
radical new ministry model, in which we are
taking the message of the gospel BACK to the
community! We are forging new partnerships with
others who share our God given mission to return
lost children and families to the plan that God
has for their lives. We believe that God has
called all believers to live abundant lives. Our
new strategy will bring result-driven, Christ
-centered programs and activities to targeted
groups and communities. We will be more
efficient and we will be more effective! We will
bring more children to Christ and we believe
their whole lives will be better as a result!
That is the hope we have because of an empty
tomb!
